How does loneliness affect us?

It subtly changes us, sometimes even influencing the way we live our lives. Being alone, you get to understand yourself better because you’re not constantly around someone. Without any attachments, in a way—it frees you. You become the only person you can rely on and trust, molding you into more of an independent person.

The qualities you can draw from loneliness—independence, the assurance in oneself, and getting to understand yourself on a deeper level were the basis of my collection and reflect in my pieces. Knits that cocoon the body and loose sweeping silhouettes, balancing hard & soft, and fabric manipulations that include frayed knits and gradation with “raindrops”.
